Casper College is accredited by the Higher Learning Commission. Our curriculum is designed to prepare students for certifications through the American Welding Society (AWS), ensuring your training is recognized by employers for its quality and adherence to national safety and structural codes.
The A.A.S. in Welding Technology is built for immediate career success, but it also serves as a strong foundation for future growth. Through our University Partnerships, graduates can apply this degree toward a Bachelor of Applied Science (B.A.S.) at the University of Wyoming at Casper. This allows you to advance into management or project coordination roles while remaining in the Casper community. By starting at CC, you benefit from a 14:1 student-to-faculty ratio, providing the personalized coaching and direct mentorship essential for mastering the technical nuances of specialized welding. Are you a licensed teacher or teaching with a PIC permit? Are you interested in teaching this subject matter in classes at the junior, middle, and/or high school levels?
