Build a solid foundation for your future with the Casper College construction technology program. Whether you are a traditional student looking to master a skilled trade or a professional seeking to formalize your field experience, our program provides the technical training required for the modern building industry. You will move beyond the classroom to gain practical, hands-on experience in residential and commercial construction, from initial site layout to the final interior finishes.
We offer two distinct pathways to help you enter the construction workforce with the specialized knowledge employers demand.
Casper College is a national leader in “affordable excellence,” consistently ranking as one of the best values for higher education in Wyoming. We are committed to helping you understand the investment you are making in your future by providing transparent cost information and personalized support. While individual costs vary based on residency and course load, many students use a combination of federal grants, the Hathaway Scholarship, and other funding sources to help manage their educational expenses.
We encourage you to use our net price calculator and contact our financial aid office for a customized estimate of your costs and aid eligibility.
The construction industry is experiencing a significant demand for skilled tradespeople and project leads across the Rocky Mountain region.
Our program adheres to high academic and safety standards, ensuring your training is recognized by regional employers. Casper College is accredited by the Higher Learning Commission.
The Associate of Applied Science (A.A.S.) is built for immediate workforce entry, but it also serves as a gateway to further education. Graduates can apply their technical credits toward the online Bachelor of Applied Science (B.A.S.) in Organizational Leadership at the University of Wyoming at Casper. This allows you to advance into high-level management positions while continuing to work in the field. Learn more about Transfer Agreements.
Are you a licensed teacher or teaching with a PIC permit? Are you interested in teaching this subject matter in classes at the junior, middle, and/or high school levels? You can complete a set of courses within this program to qualify for a career and technical education teaching endorsement. Learn more about which courses count toward a CTE endorsement.
