Casper College to Hold 72nd Annual Commencement Ceremony

The 72nd Annual Casper College Commencement Ceremony will be held on Friday, May 11 beginning at 7 p.m. in the Casper Events Center.

Commencement speaker will be Casper College graduating student Morgan Whitson. Whitson was selected from a pool of seven students who each presented their proposed commencement speech to a panel of nine judges.

In addition to an outstanding speech and presentation, the winner of the 2017-2018 Student Commencement Speaker Contest had to have a minimum 3.0 grade point average, graduate in the 2017-2018 school year, and be in good standing with Casper College. Whitson will graduate with her degree in nursing.

The commencement ceremony is free and open to the public and refreshments will be served following the ceremony.
