The deadline for Casper College scholarships for the spring 2027 semester is Sunday, Nov. 1. Students and prospective students are urged to apply by then.
Casper College Scholarships Application Process and Details
“Students do not need to be certain they will attend Casper College before applying,” said Anna Miller, Casper College scholarship coordinator. According to Miller, those considering starting or continuing their education at Casper College in spring 2027 are encouraged to complete the application and explore available scholarship opportunities. The spring semester begins Tuesday, Jan. 19, 2027.
The Casper College scholarship application is designed to make the process easier for students. Instead of completing a separate application for each scholarship, students complete a single application that matches them with the scholarships for which they may qualify.
The application includes three short essay prompts. “Students are encouraged to use the questions as an opportunity to tell their story, focusing on their experiences, goals, and circumstances,” Miller noted. Once a student submits the application, the scholarship system matches them with scholarships based on the criteria they meet. This means students do not have to spend hours completing separate applications for each scholarship.
While most scholarships can be considered through the main application, a small number of scholarships have additional questions or essay requirements. Students should review any follow-up questions they receive after submitting their application and complete those that apply to them. These questions may request information not included in the main application or require an additional essay for a specific scholarship.
Scholarship awards may be based on academic or personal achievements, interests, talents, leadership, community service, financial need, and other criteria.
“Don’t count yourself out — apply,” Miller said. “Students may be surprised by the opportunities available to them, and completing the application gives them a chance to be considered.”
Students can apply online. First-time applicants can select “Register” to create an account. Returning students can log in with their previous email address or contact Miller for assistance.
Students do not have to navigate the application process alone. The Casper College Writing Center offers free assistance with scholarship essays and is located in Strausner Hall, Room 215, on the Casper College campus. The Writing Center is open Monday and Wednesday, 9 a.m. to 7 p.m.; Tuesday and Thursday, 9 a.m. to 5 p.m.; and Friday, 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. Appointments are not required but are encouraged and can be made by calling 307-268-2610.
