“A fun-filled trip back to 1962” is the promise of Richard Burk, director of “How to Succeed in Business Without Really Trying,” the 2017 summer musical at Casper College.

Tickets are now on sale for the Broadway musical that swept the 1962 Tony Awards with wins for Best Musical, Best Author, Best Performance by a Leading Actor in a Musical, Best Performance by a Featured Actor in a Musical, Best Composer, and others.

“How to Succeed in Business Without Really Trying” is a fast-paced spoof of America’s largest companies as it follows the career of J. Pierrepont French as he climbs the ladder of success from the mailroom to the boardroom at the World Wide Wicket Company.

“When asked to direct this production, I knew this show would bring me a lot of fun, a lot of good times, and a chance to share some laughs with Casper,” said Richard Burk director. “I’ve had a great time with this show, and I’m proud to offer it to our community. I hope those attending will laugh, leave the theater humming some of the tunes, tapping their feet along with the dancers, but most of all have a good time,” he noted.

The musical will run on the McMurry Mainstage July 14 and 15 and again July 19 through 22 at 7:30 p.m. Two matinees will run on July 16 and 23 both at 2 p.m.

Tickets are $12 for adults and $10 for students 5-18 and are available online at www.caspercollege.edu/theatre, at the box office between 10 a.m. and 5 p.m. Monday through Friday, by phone at 307-268-2500, or one hour before each performance, for that performance only.

The McMurry Mainstage is located in the Gertrude Krampert Center for Theatre and Dance on the Casper College campus.
