BoodleBox AI Platform Expands Campuswide Learning
“Our work with BoodleBox is more than simply introducing another technology platform; it is part of a broader effort to provide our faculty and students with access to AI tools while also emphasizing AI literacy, responsible use, and effective integration into teaching and learning,” said David Siemens, Ed.D., director of Casper College’s Digital Learning.
As AI adoption accelerates across campuses, Casper College is prioritizing responsible AI use by providing all students and faculty with access to BoodleBox. According to BoodleBox, the institution-wide implementation strengthens Casper College’s position at the forefront of educational innovation and enables transparent, ethical AI use in teaching, learning, and research.
The campuswide rollout began in August 2026, but Siemens and a select group of employees had been using the platform throughout the summer. “The more we worked with the platform and the team behind it, the more we realized that this was the AI platform that would allow the responsible integration of AI across the Casper College campus,” said Siemens.
According to a BoodleBox spokesperson, “Casper College can now provide students and faculty with the tools, skills, and experiences essential for success in the classroom and beyond.”
“At Casper College, students come first,” said CC President Brandon Kosine. “We want to provide a transformative educational experience by empowering students’ minds and nurturing their potential, ensuring that every student’s journey leads to success and meaningful opportunities. BoodleBox is just one more way we can do that,” Kosine added.
Workforce Preparation and Applied AI Credentials
A key element of Casper College’s strategic plan is to develop and evolve programs that enhance the school’s role as a comprehensive community college. As part of that plan, Casper College submitted an application for the Artificial Intelligence for the Human Workforce certificate to the accreditor, and it is pending Higher Learning Commission review. Once the HLC has issued formal approval of the program in an official Action Letter, the certificate is expected to be offered beginning in the fall 2027 semester.
“The curriculum includes newly developed courses emphasizing hands-on learning, real-world case studies, and workplace-based projects,” said Pete Van Houten, Ed.D., then acting vice president of academic affairs. According to Van Houten, students will gain experience integrating AI tools into everyday operations, improving efficiency, communication, analysis, and innovation across sectors. The program is intentionally accessible to individuals from diverse professional backgrounds and requires no advanced technical prerequisites.
