Celebrate sophomores at final home game of 2023-2024 season

Tonight, Thursday, Feb. 15, marks the final home game of the 2023-2024 season for the Casper College Men’s and Women’s teams.

The women enter the night with a record of 20-5 overall and 6-1 conference, while the men enter their game with a record of 17-8 overall and 5-2 conference. Both teams won their last games against the Western Wyoming Community College Mustangs Saturday and should be well-rested and ready to play.

In addition to the games, the sophomores from both teams will be recognized and the night has been designated “Red Out Night.” All fans are encouraged to wear red to the games. The women’s game will begin at 5:30 as they take on the Lady Pronghorns from Gillette College 12-12 overall and 1-5 conference. The men’s game starts at 7:30 against the Pronghorns, who currently stand at 21-3 overall and 6-0 in conference play.

Sophomores to be honored tonight for the Lady T-Birds include Angela Astorga, Logann Alvar, Irene Fernandez de Caleye, and Anna Csenyi. For the men’s team, sophomore honorees include Kuon Kuon, Malyk Rebetez, Darius Robinson, Ethan Connery, Josh Ijeh, Jaden Peters, and Andrija Maric.

The games will occur in the “Swede” Erickson Thunderbird Gym on the Casper College campus. Tickets are $6 for adults 18 and older, $4 for students 13-17 and seniors 60 and older, and free for children 12 and under.
