Casper College Soccer teams to take field Oct. 3

Both the Casper College men’s and women’s NJCAA soccer teams will compete in a scrimmage against two other teams Saturday, Oct. 3, beginning at 9 a.m.

The women’s team will begin the day of scrimmages as they take on the Central Wyoming College Lady Rustlers. At 10:30, the T-Bird men will play against the Rustler men.

The next round will begin at noon as the Lady Rustlers go against the Colorado Northwestern Community College Lady Spartans. The Rustler men play against the Spartan men at 1:30 p.m.

The Casper College teams will take the field again at 3 p.m. when the Lady T-Birds go up against the Lady Spartans. The daylong slate of scrimmage games will end with the 4:30 contest between the T-Birds and Spartans.

The Casper College men are under head coach Ben McArthur and assistant coach Adam Potter. The Casper College women are under head coach Ammon Bennett and assistant coach Jocelyn Norcross.

All scrimmage games are free and open to the public and will take place at the North Casper Soccer Complex, Field 11, located at 1700 East K Street. The games can also be watched live by going to tbirds.cc.
