“Topic: The 1960s” a special learning community is being offered for the spring 2019 semester at Casper College.

The three-credit seminar features three separate classes that each take a look at the 1960s through three different disciplines: history, political science, and English. “Students will get to explore this exciting decade through analyzing its history, culture, politics, literature, and music,” said Erich Frankland, political science instructor.

The seminar will be taught on Monday, Wednesday, and Friday, from 1-1:50 p.m. each day. The history portion will be covered by Tanis Lovercheck-Saunders, history instructor, on Monday; the political science on Wednesday with Frankland; and English on Friday with Patrick Amelotte, English instructor. Students will need to register for all three classes: HIST 2490, POLS 2490, and ENGL 2490.
