A panel will discuss how to overcome a difficult past and pursue a promising future at a free event at Casper College. “Skeletons in Your Closet? Overcome a Challenging Past and Pursue a Promising Future” will be held Tuesday, Oct. 27, from 10 to 11:30 a.m.
Empowering Panel Discussion at Casper College
According to Guyla Greenly, career services coordinator at Casper College, the supportive and empowering panel discussion will provide attendees with actionable strategies to frame their past, highlight their strengths, and approach their next career move with confidence.
“Panelists will share practical guidance, encouragement, and resources for navigating career pathways, discussing personal history professionally, and building confidence throughout the job search,” said Greenly.
Attendees will learn how to discuss their personal history professionally and address employment-history questions with confidence. By focusing on their strengths, attendees will discover concrete ways to highlight their skills, overcome perceived barriers, and showcase their value to potential employers. “Attendees will leave with strategies for focusing on strengths, identifying support, and taking meaningful steps toward a promising future,” Greenly said. “They will also connect with local support networks and receive practical guidance to help them build that future.”
“Skeletons in Your Closet? Overcome a Challenging Past and Pursue a Promising Future” will be held in Room 225 of the Walter H. Nolte Gateway Center on the Casper College campus.
