Mini KEY Camp at Casper College is a fun learning adventure for fourth- and fifth-grade students and will take place this year on Monday, Nov. 2. Applications are due Monday, Oct. 19.
What Mini KEY Camp Offers Young Students
Like the summer KEY Camp for sixth-, seventh-, and eighth-graders, Mini KEY Camp offers students unique academic and social enrichment opportunities, according to Brittney Good, community education program coordinator.
Mini KEY Camp runs from 7:30 a.m. to 5:30 p.m. and includes lunch, dinner, and snacks. Classes at Mini KEY Camp are activity-focused and taught by dynamic instructors. GaGa Ball, a KEY Camp favorite, will also be available for recreation. This year, class offerings will include American Sign Language, health sciences, and more. “The classes and social engagements make Mini KEY Camp a truly unique experience,” said Good.
The camp will also feature Dino Madsen, dean of health science at Casper College, as the guest speaker. He will discuss what Casper College offers and why fourth- and fifth-graders should start thinking about college now.
The cost per student is $65, with scholarships available. All Mini KEY Camp activities and classes will be held on the Casper College campus.
Register today at the camp registration site before the Oct. 19 deadline. For more information, call 307-268-3401 or email comm_ed@caspercollege.edu.
