OLLI spring registration is set for Tuesday, Jan. 30, 2018.

Fall registration for the Osher Lifelong Learning Institute at Casper College is now open.

The open request period, which runs through Tuesday, Aug. 14 is open to all OLLI members and those who would like to join for the fall semester. “Members can go online and request the classes they are interested in taking or stop by the Walter H. Nolte Gateway Center, Room 408 and we will enter the request for them. People still have time to avail themselves of an amazing program,” said Jeaneece Schmidt, lifelong learning specialist.

For those wanting to join OLLI, the cost is $60 per person and includes five classes from the 2018 fall semester only. The fall semester features 56 different listings including day and evening classes and trips to both local areas and historic locations.

On Wed., August 15 OLLI will run a lottery for OLLI classes to ensure an equitable process for all members. According to Schmidt, class registrations are not final until after the lottery. “After the lottery runs, we notify members as to what classes they ‘won’ and any payment owed. Confirmation and payment for these classes have to be made by Wed., August 22,” Schmidt noted. Members can also pay in person in the Gateway Center, Room 408 on August 15-17 from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m.
