Saturday Club to Feature Rock Splitting

The October edition of the Tate Geological Museum’s Saturday Club will give those 8 and older a chance to split open rocks in search of trilobites and possibly fossil fish. The no-cost event will take place on Saturday, Oct. 3 from 10:30-11:30 a.m.

The Saturday Club has two age divisions, one for students aged 8 and older, and the other for children aged 5-7.

Saturday Club is held at the Tate Geological Museum located on the Casper College campus. The next Saturday Club will take place on Saturday, November 7, 2015. For more information, call the museum at 307-268-2447.
