CC Goalie Sierra Verplancke signs with Dakota State University

Casper College Women’s Soccer player Sierra Verplancke has signed to play on the inaugural women’s soccer team at Dakota State University beginning in the fall of 2025.
Verplancke, from Buffalo, Wyoming, played two years for the Thunderbirds as a goalkeeper. She played in six games with one start in her sophomore year and had a .64 goals-against average with an 80% save.
“We are very excited to watch her continue her academic and athletic career at a brand-new program,” said Jocelyn Norcross, assistant coach.
Upon Verplancke’s official signing, the DSU Women’s Soccer team posted on its Instagram account: “The first of our 2025 sophomores has signed to play at the next level! We are proud to congratulate Sierra Verplancke from Buffalo, Wyoming, on her commitment to Dakota State University Women’s soccer.”
The DSU Lady Trojans play in the North Star Athletic Association in the National Association of Intercollegiate Athletics.
