The Casper College board of trustees proudly announced they have appointed Anna Kinder and Brad Cundy to serve as interim trustees until the upcoming November elections. Both Kinder and Cundy bring extensive community leadership and deep roots in Casper to their new roles.

Kinder, currently the director of the Natrona County Health Department, is a distinguished alumna of Casper College with further academic achievements in occupational therapy and a master’s degree in occupational therapy with an emphasis in adult learning and leadership. Her collaboration with the college in public health underscores her commitment to community welfare, enriching the board with her broad experience.

Brad Cundy, a prominent local business owner and land developer, is celebrated for his contributions to business and community service. A Gillette College graduate and recently recognized as a distinguished alumnus, Cundy’s 40 years of running businesses and diverse board experience, both public and private, highlight his advocacy for a skilled workforce and community betterment.

Both Kinder and Cundy will fulfill their interim roles until the November election, with the opportunity to extend their service through four-year terms on the Casper College board of trustees.

Steve Degenfelder, chair of the Casper College board of trustees, said, “As board chair, I was very flattered and honored by the number and quality of the applicants for the two seats. This was the hardest decision we’ve had to make but we are very fortunate to welcome two invaluable community leaders to our board.”

The appointments follow the retirement of longstanding trustees Susan Miller and Dr. Scott Bennion, whose combined 50 years of service were pivotal in shaping the college’s growth and success.
