‘A Recital to Die For’ prelude to Halloween Oct. 29

Ceramic artist Linda Lyman’s work is currently on display at the Casper College Alumni Association Art Gallery through Thursday, Dec. 7. Her artist talk will take place on Tuesday, Oct. 10 at noon.
“Coming and Going” is the title for this year’s Fall Collage Concert at the Wheeler Concert Hall on Friday, Oct. 6, at 7 p.m.
“’The Drowsy Chaperone,” billed as ‘a musical within a comedy,’ is charming and witty, clever and quick, and is filled with a wide variety of dance styles that will keep the smile on your face,” said Richard Burk, director.
An exciting and new string quartet, the Ventis String Quartet, will have its premiere performance on Sunday, Oct. 1, at 4 p.m. in the Wheeler Concert Hall.
A fundraiser for the Kinser Jazz Festival will be held on Friday, Oct. 13, from 6-10 p.m. at The M.
Pianist Vincent Yang will be in concert in Wheeler Hall on Thursday, Sept. 21, at 7 p.m. The “Parisian Gems” concert is free and open to all.
Members of the Casper College music faculty will present the “Fall Faculty Musicale,” a free concert to the community on Wednesday, Sept. 27, at noon in Wheeler Concert Hall.
An exhibit by photographer Lora Webb Nichols titled “Photographs Made, Photographs Collected 1899-1935” is on exhibit at the Mildred Zahradnicek Gallery through September 28.
“Rock Art in Wyoming: Themes in Rock Art from the Casper College Foundation Fine Art Collection” will be displayed at the Casper College Alumni Association Art Gallery August 21-September 8.
