T-Bird Men begin 2025 tournament action at home

Casper fans have one last chance to cheer on the Casper College Men’s Basketball team as they play a Region 9 North Sub-Region play-in game at “Swede” Erickson Thunderbird Gym this Saturday, March 8, at 2 p.m.
Under Head Coach Tom Parks, the T-Birds are on a four-game winning streak. The Birds stand at 23-6 overall and 10-2 in conference play in Parks’ and Assistant Coach Deion Anderson’s second year at Casper College.
The team will take on the Eastern Wyoming College Lancers. The Lancers, under head coach Bill Engel, are 6-23 overall and 2-10 in conference play.
The winner of Saturday’s game will then move on to the 2025 NJCAA Region IX Men’s Basketball Tournament at Gillette College’s Pronghorn Center in Gillette, where they will play against the reseeded third seed from the Region 9 South Sub-Region. The tournament will take place March 13-15.
Tickets for Saturday’s play-in game are $6 for adults 18 and over, $4 for seniors 60 and over and students 13-17, and free for those 12 and under.
Tickets will be available at the door of the “Swede” Erickson Thunderbird Gymnasium on the Casper College campus. Fans can livestream the game on YouTube.
