‘all stars are love’ theme of March 7 concert

“all stars are love” is the theme for the Casper College Concert Band concert Friday, March 7, at 7 p.m. in the Wheeler Concert Hall.
Under the direction of Joshua R. Mietz, DMA, the free concert will feature “Right Forward” and “The Fairest of the Fair” by John Philip Sousa, Frank Ticheli’s “Amazing Grace,” “Second Suite in F, Op. 28 No. 2” by Gustav Holst, selections from Igor Stravinsky’s “Suite from Firebird,” and many more. In addition, soprano Veronica Turner will join the band on Steven Bryant’s “all stars are love.”
The concert band is comprised of Jenna Farley, Tabitha Pelton, and Delores Thornton on flute; Alexandra McCaffrey, Ruby Martin, Tre Weant, Dan Spangler, and Abigail Nguyen on clarinet; Richard Turner and Mala Stagg on Bassoon; William Weader, Aidan Murphy, and Dylan Mazzanti on saxophone; Ozzy Ness, Joshua Nicholson, and Eternity Thunder-Tophia on trumpet; Mike Pryczynski and Virginia Hazen on horn; Isaac Vreeman and Jackson Richard on trombone; Titus Vreeman on euphonium; Jerry Delgado and Chae Averett on Tuba; Walker Wyckoff on bass; and Paula Flynn and Gracie Keizer on piano and keyboard.
The Wheeler Concert Hall is located in the Music Building on the Casper College campus.
