Emmy Finlinson commits to Sul Ross State for soccer

Emmy Finlinson of Eagle Mountain, Utah, has signed her letter of intent to continue her soccer career at NCAA D2 school Sul Ross State University, located in Alpine, Texas.
According to Assistant Women’s Soccer Coach Jocelyn Norcross, Finlinson was the T-Birds’ starting goalkeeper for the past two years, playing in 28 games with 24 starts. She had an overall GAA of .76 and a save percentage of 79%.

“She was a difference maker for us in goal the past two seasons, making big saves to keep us in games. Her leadership in the back will be missed this next year,” said Norcross. “We know she will do well at the next level and look forward to watching her success,” Norcross added.
Under Head Coach John Dominguez, the Sul Ross State University Lady Lobos went 2-14 overall for the 2024 season. The NCAA D2 Lobos play in the Lone Star Conference.
