Mini KEY Camp registration deadline Oct. 14
The registration deadline for this year’s Mini KEY Camp at Casper College is Monday, Oct. 14. The camp will take place on Monday, Oct. 28, and is designed for all Natrona County fifth graders.
“Much like the summer KEY Camp for seventh and eighth graders, Mini KEY Camp will take students on an exciting journey through health sciences, agriculture, astronomy, and the arts,” said Brittney Good, community education program coordinator. Mini KEY Camp features activity-focused classes, dynamic instructors, and a KEY Camp favorite, GaGa Ball.
The camp runs from 7:30 a.m. to 5:45 p.m. and features lunch, dinner, and snacks. “For a taste of the complete college experience, campers will conclude their day with dinner in the college cafeteria,” noted Good. All Mini KEY Camp activities and classes will occur on the Casper College campus.
A highlight of this year’s camp will be a presentation from a Fulbright Scholar from France. Capucine Cesmat is from Compiègne in the north of France. She graduated in 2024 with a master’s in anglophone studies specializing in American history. She is a faculty member in the world languages department at Casper College for the 2024-2025 school year, teaching various French classes.
