Photographer Brittany Jones’ “Nature Walks with God” is currently on display at the Mildred Zahradnicek Gallery. The final day of the exhibit is Thursday, Sept. 26.

“’ Nature Walks with God’ is a selection of photographs inspired by her connection to nature and interest in capturing candid moments, each unique to time and place, according to Valerie Innella-Maiers, visual arts instructor. “I would go out on walks, and I would see geese and birds. I have had a longing for birds since I was younger, and I have always taken pictures of geese. In this study, I chose to pick the seven pictures that tell a story in their own way, and each one is different from the others,” said Jones. “The thing I love the most about this type of photography is that every time you go, it’s different. God has shown me ways to learn things from geese and birds,” she added.

Jones graduated from Casper College in 2017 with an Associate of Fine Arts in photography.

The exhibit is free and open to the public. The Mildred Zahradnicek Gallery is open 9 a.m.-4 p.m. Monday-Thursday and is located in the Music Building on the Casper College campus.
