Call for entries for ‘Wind Walkers’ fine arts and crafts show
The Casper College Werner Wildlife Museum seeks entries for its annual fall juried fine arts and crafts show. The title for this year’s show is “Wind Walkers.”
Wyoming artists and artisans working in any medium are welcome to submit work. According to Dalene Hodnett, director of museums, the yearly show is designed to celebrate Wyoming’s wildlife and wild places.
Work submitted must reflect the theme of wilderness. Because of that, artwork is limited to that which can be found in the wild and excludes humans, domestic or feral animals, and any trappings of civilization.
The deadline for entries is Friday, Nov. 8, at 4 p.m. The show begins with an open house from 4-7 p.m. on Thursday, Nov. 14. The exhibit will run through Wednesday, Jan. 15, 2025.
The juried show is open to all residents of Wyoming, Casper College students, faculty, and staff. For more information, guidelines or entry forms, stop by the Werner at 405 East 15th, call 307-235-2108, or email wernerwildlifemuseum@caspercollege.edu
The Werner Wildlife Museum is free to the public and open from 10 a.m.-4 p.m. Monday-Friday.
