Tom Parks, Casper College Men’s Basketball head coach and Deion Anderson, men’s assistant coach, will lead this year’s boys’ basketball camp June 17-20 and June 24-27.

The camp will feature two sessions. The first session is for second through fifth-grade boys and will run June 17-20 from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. The second session is for sixth through ninth-grade students and will run June 24-27 from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. Check-in time is 30 minutes before the start of camp.

Parks and Anderson will teach each camper the skills and team aspect of the sport of basketball. Along with stressing the fundamentals, they will also have several contests and games for participants during the camp.

“I’m super excited for basketball camp season! Each day will build on the previous day fundamentally, and of course, we will have time for games, competitions, and prizes,” said Parks. “There’s going to be a ton of fun and energy in T-Bird Gymnasium this June,” he added.

Lunch will also be provided at camp for an additional $10 per day, $40 per week, or campers can bring their own lunch.

The Casper College Boys Basketball Camp will be held at the “Swede” Erickson Thunderbird Gymnasium.

The cost per person is $175, which includes a camp basketball and T-shirt. To register or for more information, call Robin Bisiar, athletics administrative assistant, at 307-268-3000 or robin.bisiar@caspercollege.edu, or go online.
