Casper College to host Field Day at CC Ranch

Casper College is hosting a Field Day at the Casper College Ranch on Thursday, Aug. 31, from 7:30 a.m. to noon. Current research programs, a tour, and group discussions will be held, according to Jerry Hawkes, dean for the School of Science at Casper College. “Weed control and a recent fertilizer trial are the program topics,” said Hawkes.

Other companies invited to the event include Wyoming Machinery Company, Bobcat of Casper, Natrona County Extension, Noland Feed, and Murdoch’s Ranch and Home Supply.

The Casper College Ranch is located at 468 6 Mile Road. Lunch, courtesy of ADM, will be provided following the trial. The agriculture community is encouraged to attend this free event.
