New coach to head Casper College Boys’ Basketball Camp

New Head Coach of the Casper College Men’s basketball team, Tom Parks, will lead this year’s boys’ basketball camp June 26-28.

“I’m very excited to be back in Wyoming. I’m very proud to call this state home and be back around such great, neighborly people. I cannot wait for basketball camp to meet all the kids and families … just be sure to bring the energy!” said Parks.

The camp will feature two sessions. The first session is for boys in first through fourth grade and will run from 10 a.m. to noon. The second session is for those in fifth through eighth grade and will run from 1 to 3 p.m.

Parks will teach each camper the skills and team aspect of the sport of basketball. Along with stressing the fundamentals, he will also have several contests and games for participants during the camp.

The Casper College Boys Basketball Camp will be held at the “Swede” Erickson Thunderbird Gymnasium.
