Popular Fall Collage Concert Sept. 30

The popular Casper College Chamber Singers, Contemporary Singers, and the Chamber Orchestra will perform in the annual Fall Collage Concert Friday, Sept. 30, at 7 p.m. in Wheeler Concert Hall.

The Chamber Singers and the Contemporary Singers are both under the direction of Zachary Vreeman, DMA. The Contemporary Singers will perform the Billy Joel song “New York State of Mind” and a song composed by John Lennon and Paul McCartney, “In My Life.” Pianist Paula Flynn will accompany both groups.

The Chamber Singers will present a variety of works, including “At the Round Earth’s Imagined Corners,” “ Stay,” “Gloria Patri from “Magnificat,” “Alleluia,” and “Exsultate, Jubilate!”

The Casper College Chamber Orchestra, under the direction of Jennifer DePaolo, will perform several pieces, including “Suite for Strings” Prelude, “Air for String,” and “L’autunno — Autumn,” Op. 8, No. 3 in F Major.

The Fall Collage Concert is free and open to the public. The Wheeler Concert Hall is located in the Music Building on the Casper College campus.
