This event has been canceled due to a snowstorm. The Casper College T-Bird basketball teams will take on the Western Nebraska Community College Cougars during “Military Appreciation Night” Monday, Feb. 3, beginning with the women’s game at 5:30, followed by the men’s at 7:30 p.m.

The last time the two teams met was in Scottsbluff, Nebraska, Nov. 19, when the T-Bird men lost 88-86, and the T-Bird women lost 78-70. Those losses are one of only three for both T-Bird teams so far this season.

The evening will feature free admission for veterans and current military and their guest with valid ID. In addition to the free admission, the Casper College Veterans Club will hold a 50/50 raffle to benefit their programs, representatives from different military branches will be in attendance, a color guard will perform, and the Casper College Student Veteran of the Year will be named.

Admission for nonmilitary to “Military Appreciation Night” is $4 for those 18 and over, $3 for those 60 and over, and $2 for those aged 13-17. Children under 12 get in free.

Both games will be held in the “Swede” Erickson Thunderbird Gym on the Casper College campus. For those unable to attend the game can be viewed on the Casper College athletics website under “Fan Zone” at tbirds.cc.
