Art sale set for Friday and Saturday
Casper College art students will be holding the Annual Holiday Remainder Art Sale for two days: Friday, Dec. 6, from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. and Saturday, Dec. 7, from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. in the Casper College Goodstein Visual Arts Center, Room 102.
The annual fundraising sale will feature handmade pottery by Casper College students. “We sell pottery to raise money for the guest artist program in ceramics. We bring a professional ceramist each semester to work with and for the students so they can learn new techniques and approaches to clay,” said Mike Olson, ceramics instructor at Casper College. In addition to the pottery for sale, members of the Casper College Art Club will be selling decorations.
The Goodstein Visual Arts Center is located on the Casper College campus. The event is free and open to the public, and refreshments will be served.
