Home Games Start Second Half of Season

The second half of the regular season for both the men’s and women’s Thunderbird Basketball teams is ready to begin with the No. 11 ranked men (15-1) taking on the Wyoming All-Stars this Saturday, Jan. 5 at 6 p.m. in the “Swede” Erickson Thunderbird Gymnasium.
The women (10-4) will play their first game of the second half of the season in the Swede on Monday, Jan. 7 at 6 p.m. against the Western Nebraska Community College Lady Cougars (12-2).
Both teams will be home for a double-header on Wednesday, Jan. 9 against the Central Wyoming College Rustlers. The women will tip-off at 5:30 and the men at 7:30 p.m. Both Thunderbird teams will again play at the Swede on Saturday, Jan. 12 against the Laramie County Community College Golden Eagles. Play for the women will begin at 2 and the men at 4 p.m.
Ticket prices are adults 18 and over $4, seniors 60 and over $3, students 13-17 $2, and children 12 and under free. Tickets are available at the door.
