Those whose native language is Spanish are invited to a special college information welcome night sponsored by Casper College on Thursday, Nov. 12 from 5-7 p.m. at Don Juan Mexican Restaurant. “This will be a night of fun, food, family, and facts about Casper College, hosted by Don Juan Mexican Restaurant,” said Kyla Foltz.

“This evening event is perfect for Hispanic and Latino community members to explore the education and career options at Casper College. For many of our students, their family has input on their decision to attend college. We will have interpreters on hand, to make sure that family members who don’t speak English have a chance to learn about what Casper College offers so they can help with college decisions,” said Foltz, director of admissions services at Casper College. “The info night will help students and their families learn more about programs of study, how the admission process works, and what forms of financial aid they are eligible for. Admission decisions are made based upon high school completion status, no matter an applicant’s citizenship status,” she noted.

Don Juan Mexican Restaurant is located at 144 S. Center Street in downtown Casper. For more information contact Foltz at 307-268-2111.
