Thunderbirds’ Morgan Signs Letter With D-1 Northern Colorado

By:

Casper College basketball coach Dan Russell announced this week that Thunderbird center Tanner Morgan has signed a letter of intent to play next year at the University of Northern Colorado in Greeley.

The 6′-9″ Morgan, from Salem, Ore., averaged 8 points and 7 rebounds per game his sophomore season for the T-Birds. He played in every T-Bird game as a freshman.

“Tanner is a product of buy in and hard work,” said Russell. “He trusted me, our staff, and program and has become a very good player. His ability to play hard and defend has earned him this opportunity. I am very proud of Tanner and what he has accomplished up to this point.

Morgan is a graduate of Sprague High School in Salem. He is the son of Ron and Krista Morgan.
