Job Summary and Responsibilities:
Student employees are responsible for coordinating the live stream broadcast service at athletic events, commencement, pinning ceremonies and occasional college events where needed.
Arrive 30 minutes prior to the game starting.
Set up live stream equipment including cameras, video hardware and software.
Validate system is working and begin broadcast on time.
Operate video and audio equipment throughout the game.
Take down, store, and secure all equipment following the game.
Transfer video files for coaches to use in their analysis of the game.
May include operating a floor camera or, in cases where students possess photography skills, take still photographs during the game.
Students with video and photo editing skills may have opportunities to work on other projects as they present.
Special projects occur throughout the year and generally involve other office-based work opportunities including maintaining a general promotional item inventory and special projects assigned by the director.
Minimum Qualifications:
Degree-seeking student, enrolled in at least 6 credit hours at CC or a partnership institution. Degree-seeking student, enrolled in at least 6 credit hours at CC or a partnership institution.
Ability to work independently.
Effective communication skills.
