Job Summary and Responsibilities:
The Department of Workforce Development is a fast-paced office that serves a diverse population of non-traditional students from those seeking professional certifications to community members seeking classes for professional development. Duties include typical office skills; registrations, email communication, data entry, Word, Excel, excellent customer service, responding to phone calls, copies, campus errands, filing, and other duties as assigned. Employment is available for the 2023-2024 school year. We provide flexibility in scheduling but require dependability with time management.
Minimum Qualifications:
Degree-seeking student, enrolled in at least 6 credit hours at CC or a partnership institution. ● Excellent customer service, interpersonal, written, and verbal communication skills.
● Outstanding problem-solving skills.
● Basic computer knowledge: Microsoft Word, Microsoft Excel, and the Google platform.
● Ability to work independently with minimal supervision on some occasions, and
ability to balance life/school/work.
● Dependability and excellent time management skills are a must.
● Degree-seeking student, enrolled in at least 6 credit hours at CC or a partnership institution.
● Must be in good academic standing, with a preferred cumulative GPA of 2.0 or above.

Duties Include:
● Office and computer tasks, register Workforce Development students, greet and assist students, make copies, file, place/answer phone calls and reply/send emails.
● Assistance with field trips, conferences, and set up for events/classes.
● Assist instructors with AV/IT support.
● On-campus errands.
● Printing mailing labels and nametags via Microsoft Word.
● Clean and organize as needed.
● Other tasks as assigned.
