Essential tips and useful information for applying for scholarships at Casper College!
  • For First-Time Users:
    • The portal is not linked to your student login credentials. If this is your first time logging in, please create a new account using an email that you regularly check.
    • If you have logged in before, try using the email address you used to create your initial account. If you’ve forgotten your password, click on the “Forgot Password” link to reset it.
  • For Prospective Students:
    • If you have not yet applied or completed the admissions application, you can still apply!  Simply create an account using an email that you check regularly.
  • How do I upload my transcript?  Please avoid spending money on official transcripts. You can simply upload your most recent unofficial transcript.
  • Letters of Recommendations are not required but highly recommended:  If you don’t have a letter, don’t worry—just submit your application anyway!  However, we highly encourage you to upload at least one letter of recommendation.  Submitting at least one letter can significantly strengthen your scholarship application.  If you have more than one letter, that’s excellent!  You can upload multiple letters. You can request letters from your employer, church, teacher, coach, or school counselor. However, please avoid asking family members, as we know they already think the world of you!
  • Essay Writing Tip: First, type your essay in a writing software like Microsoft Word. The system does not check for spelling or grammatical errors, so errors like spelling “college” as “collage” could negatively impact your application. Having a well-prepared essay is also useful for applying to other scholarships and can be easily updated for each scholarship cycle, speeding up the application process. We also have an excellent Writing Center on campus to assist you with these.  They are located in Strausner Hall, Room 215.

Scholarship Guidelines

Scholarships are intended to recognize academic and other achievements, and to assist as many qualified students as possible. Casper College awards approximately $3.5 million dollars in scholarships every year.

About Institutional and Foundation Scholarships

Casper College T-Bird Award

Students are automatically considered for this scholarship if you (1) apply for admission to Casper College, submit current high school transcripts and ACT scores before December 1 each year, and (2) meet the criteria. The goal of the Casper College T-Bird Award is to recognize high-achieving incoming freshmen students. These are awarded based on cumulative high school GPA and ACT score. No additional scholarship application is required for the T-Bird Award. Awardees will be notified via postal mail. Not all students will receive a scholarship.

Activity and Athletic Scholarships

Recipients of activity and athletic scholarships are selected by the coach and/or sponsor of each activity/sport. Each scholarship requires the student to maintain specific eligibility and prescribed participation level requirements to maintain the award. Generally, recipients must attempt and earn at least 12 credit hours each semester and maintain at least a 2.0 GPA each semester. These scholarships are not guaranteed renewable, but reapplication is permitted.

Foundation and Alumni-sponsored Scholarships

Foundation and Alumni-sponsored scholarships are funded through the generosity of private donors and endowments.  Criteria varies, and range from part-time enrollment to full-time enrollment, with minimum GPA requirements of 2.0 GPA. Learn about some of our generous donors and alumni.
