Company Description:
All God’s Children is a preschool that provides a developmentally appropriate play-based Christian curriculum to encourage all students to fall in love with learning and grow in faith.
Job Summary and Responsibilities:
Relate with, care for, and supervise children ages 3 – 5 years old.
Maintain positive relationships through a calm, warm demeanor with children, lead teacher and parents.
Communicate effectively both verbally and in writing with children, lead teacher, and parents.
Support the lead teacher in the classroom and cover during lead teacher absences.
Assist in the planning and implementation of a developmentally appropriate curriculum and program.
Assist in the planning and preparation of the learning environment including set up, tear down, and cleaning.
Assist in meeting the needs of individual children with concern for their interests, limitations, special talents, and individual style and pace of learning.
Maintain regular preschool schedule including periods of time outdoors with children in various weather conditions.
Effectively organize and prioritize assigned work.
Maintain a neat and professional appearance.
Maintain prompt working hours.
Maintain a safe, sanitary, and pleasant learning environment.
Recognize symptoms of communicable diseases and follow existing written procedures.
Participate in routine safety drills and assist in emergency procedures.
Participate in recommended meetings, training programs, conferences, courses, and other aspects of professional growth to keep up on best teaching practices.
Other duties as assigned.

Monday – Friday
Hours:
9:30 AM – 5:30 PM
Lunch:
During work hours with the preschool class.
Work Environment: Typical work environment is a classroom, kitchen, and office setting requiring safety precautions. Occasional early morning, late evening, and weekend work may be required.
Minimum Qualifications:
Associate degree in Early Childhood Education, Elementary Education, Social Work, or related field.
2 Years of experience with preschool-age children or in an education setting.
Ability and willingness to submit fingerprints and successfully pass a background check.
Certification, or willingness and ability to become certified, in both CPR and First Aid.
Other requirements according to the licensing agency including, but not limited to, obtaining at least 8 hours of professional development clock hours yearly.
Knowledge of health and safety protocols including hand washing, sanitization, latex gloves, appropriate disposal of body fluids, administering and recording medication, filing injury reports, posting records of allergies, and considering allergies in daily operations.
