Job Summary and Responsibilities:
The position of Student Life COVID-19 Work Study provides critical support to Student Life in
assisting students residing on campus who are impacted by COVID-19.
The Student Life COVID-19 Work Study primarily acquires food from Dining Services and
delivers outside the doors of students who reside in on-campus housing and are unable to get
their own food because they feel ill or are being asked to quarantine or isolate in their rooms.
Essential Duties:
Collaborate with Dining Services to pick up meals for students who are unable to get their
own due to quarantining or isolating in their on-campus rooms or apartments
Make contact and communicate with quarantining or isolating students to gather their meal
orders if they did not pre-order their food using Sodexo’s meal ordering app
Deliver meals outside student doors to assist students in quarantine or isolation
Maintain confidentiality of student records which contain private student data and
information of a sensitive nature
Work with the Director of Student Life, Administrative Assistant for Student Life, and
Residence Hall Area Coordinator to provide exceptional service and support for students
impacted by COVID-19
Operate successfully in an environment with limited direct supervision
Other duties as assigned
Work Environment:
Typical work environment includes the Residence Hall, Wheeler Terrace Apartments, and
University/Union Building. This position requires the need to travel between these locations with
prepared meals to deliver to student rooms.
Physical Demands:
Employee is regularly required to sit, speak, hear, use hands and fingers to handle materials
and use computer, feel, and reach with hands and arms. Occasional lifting of up to 25 pounds
may be required. Less frequent lifting of up to 50 pounds may be required (lifting food delivery
cart, etc.). Visual requirements require close-up, distance, and ability to focus. Employee is
required to fill a cart with bags containing meals, then push the cart from the U/U building to
either the Residence Hall or Wheeler Terrace Apartments.
Minimum Qualifications:
Degree-seeking student, enrolled in at least 6 credit hours at CC or a partnership institution. Minimum Qualifications:
Good academic standing at Casper College or partner institution
Excellent customer service
Ability to maintain strict confidentiality
High attention to detail
Ability to communicate effectively and efficiently in all forms
Ability to work well with limited direct supervision
Ability to push a cart with food from one campus building to another in a variety of
weather conditions
Proficient with computer use and office software (MS Office Suite, Google Sheets,
etc…), email communication and data entry
