History

The study of History at Casper College is designed to prepare students for further work in the discipline or in other fields in the humanities and social sciences, and to give perspective on the issues and problems of the contemporary world.

What are the features of Casper’s program?

Undergraduate work in history can prepare the student for graduate study in the field and careers in government, the law, archive and museum management, and a number of other areas in the private sector. The skills of critical thinking and analysis which are honed by historical study are essential for all educated individuals and are useful in a wide variety of career applications.
