What are the special admission requirements, if any?
There are no formal prerequisites to begin the Electrical Apprenticeship classes at Casper College. Most students start their first class after gaining employment with an electrical contractor; however, it is also possible to begin coursework prior to employment with an electrical contractor. Typically, students begin both employment and classes within 12 months of each other. Students who have completed apprenticeship coursework outside of Wyoming should contact the Wyoming State Fire Marshal’s Office to verify acceptance of previous coursework. This information will help Casper College advisors determine appropriate course placement.
