OSHA General Industry training class offered Dec. 4 and 5 at Casper College

The Occupational Safety and Health Administration’s “OSHA 10 General Industry” class is being offered at Casper College on Dec. 4 and 5. The class is designed for entry-level general industry workers.

Participants who successfully complete the class will receive an OSHA 10 Department of Labor card. Successful completion of the class may be required by an employer to be hired and is mandatory in some states, cities, and local jurisdictions.

The class will run on Wednesday, Dec. 4, from 8 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. and Thursday from 8 to 11 a.m. in the Walter H. Nolte Gateway Center, Room 223. The cost for the class is $299, and the class is worth one continuing education unit.
