6-19 hrs/wk (depending on availability) Monday-Friday, some weekends. Mostly evening hours depending on intramural and event schedules

Job Summary and Responsibilities:
The Student Activity and Intramural Assistant supports and helps staff student activities and intramural events on campus. The student in this position will help with the organization and running of student activities and events to promote fun and successful events. Some responsibilities in this position include, but are not limited to:
Setting up and tearing down activities
Planning and running some activities
Running open gym nights
Serving as a referee, keeping scores, running the clock, and other areas needed during intramurals
Manage access to activity equipment
Assist with marketing student activities
Attend weekly student activity meetings
Ensure safety and security of activities
Minimum Qualifications:
Degree-seeking student, enrolled in at least 6 credit hours at CC or a partnership institution. Degree-seeking student, enrolled in at least 6 credit hours at CC or a partnership institution
Able to adapt quickly to changing student needs in a rapidly moving environment
Able to have positive interactions with different types of students
Good communication and interpersonal skills
