Office to support Local Governments. The Grant Training is designed to help individuals
navigate the complex grant management process. Through collaborative discussions, participants

securing, monitoring of, and associated compliance of federal grants.

better. The training covers six modules and requires a written test to demonstrate material

years, I’ll share my insights and expectations of what auditees can do to make their lives (and
their auditor’s lives) easier.

Safe Drinking Water Basics & EPA’s Free Water Technical Assistance

This two-part presentation covers the basics of the Safe Drinking Water Act and EPA’s free
hands-on technical assistance. Part one covers the definitions of a public water system, its
classifications, as well as monitoring, reporting, and submittal basics for treatment plants and
distribution systems. Here, EPA will provide insight to how the agency directly regulates
drinking water systems located within the State of Wyoming. Part two focuses on EPA’s Water
Technical Assistance (WaterTA) available for communities to assess water needs and apply for
funding. EPA will walk the audience through the services offered, eligibility, how to request
WaterTA, and other opportunities.

Liquor Licensing-24 Hour Permits

The presentation will be about liquor licensing in general with special focus on 24 Hour Permit
processes. The primary objectives will be training on Wyoming state liquor law requirements for
24-hour permits, how local licensing authorities determine their own processes, and best
practices. Clerks will utilize the training and information to more effectively evaluate 24 hour
permitted events, advise 24-hour permit applicants, and how to process and issue 24 hour permits
in accordance with applicable Wyoming state liquor laws.
