Pre-Medicine

Pre-medicine studies can lead you to a career as primary health care provider.

As a physician, you will rely on a wide variety of medical skills to solve medical problems. Students will gain the ability to listen with care, to explain with clarity and to make sound, ethical decisions.

What are the features of Casper’s program?

The pre-professional education pathway

This is a transfer program. What does that mean? This Associate of Science (A.S.) degree program prepare students for entry into a bachelor’s degree program and/or for application directly into their identified area of professional education.

How to become a doctor

Casper College’s Pre-medicine Program will help you choose the right courses to keep you on track toward acceptance into an undergraduate program at a four-year institution. Medical schools often accept a wide range of bachelor’s degrees from four-year colleges or universities.

Casper College encourages students to begin a dialogue with their intended transfer school as early as possible. Your academic advisor will assist you with this process, but it is the student’s responsibility to verify required courses and the application process for the university you are planning to attend.

Most medical professions involve a great deal of training. Students can start that training now at Casper College.
