Meet the Student Ambassador Team

By: Lisa S. Icenogle

Our student ambassadors are an integral part of the admissions office here at Casper College! No day is the same in the exciting world of admissions, and these current students help keep things running smoothly. As the school year comes to an end, we want to thank them for their dedication and hard work for Casper College!

Bethany Casali

Major: Occupational Therapy Assisting

Hometown: Aurora, Colorado

Why I came to CC: I came to Casper College because it had an occupational training assistant program and in Colorado, there was only one other occupational training assistant program, and I loved Casper way more than the other location. Casper College seemed to provide more opportunities. I toured this campus twice, and both times, I just fell in love with it here and knew it was where I needed to be.

Why I wanted to be an ambassador: I wanted to be an ambassador for CC because it sounded like a really great job and the people I would be working with seemed to overall have a really great positive attitude, and I need that in my life. I feel like I’m a pretty bubbly person and I like to interact with people so getting the chance within the job to give tours and represent the college seemed pretty perfect.

Hobbies: Camping, hiking, whitewater rafting, bike riding, horseback riding, ice skating, skiing, snowboarding, exploring, and traveling

Favorite class I’ve taken: Film photography

Favorite thing about being a student at CC: I feel really connected with the people on campus, and I feel that CC so far has provided me with good hands-on learning.

Monique Clarkson

Favorite class I’ve taken: Yoga

Favorite thing about being a student at CC: The faculty members! Everyone is helpful and kind, and all of my teachers are engaged and really care about how I’m doing.

Morgan Mahlum

Major: Biology

Why I came to CC: Because it was close, and due to my parent’s working here I was already pretty familiar with the campus.

Why I wanted to be an ambassador: I wanted to be able to show potential new students our campus so they can get a good feel for it before they start.

Hobbies: Drawing and writing

Favorite class I’ve taken at CC: Microbiology

Favorite thing about being a student at CC: I get to see my parents every day at school.

Katie Noomen

Major: Pharmacy Technology

Hometown: Rock Springs, Wyoming

Why I came to CC: Casper College has an amazing pharmacy tech program along with the resources I need for college.

Why I wanted to be an ambassador: Being an ambassador gets you involved with the college and the activities that are held here on campus. It also shows future colleges and employers a little bit about your personality.

Hobbies: Being active in intramural sports and continuing to drop in tournaments for hockey.

Favorite class I’ve taken: Pharmacy class because it gets me hands-on experience for the work field.

Favorite thing about being a student at CC: The feeling of success with each goal I meet here as a student with the help of all the resources the campus offers.

Taylor Pereda

Major: Pre-Veterinary

Hometown: Lander, Wyoming

Why I came to CC: Casper offered me great academic and financial opportunities in a community that wasn’t extremely far from home.

Why I wanted to be an ambassador: I wanted to join the ambassador program because it would give me an excellent leadership position where I could meet new people daily, get involved in my community, and grow as a person.

Hobbies: Horseback riding, snowboarding, fishing, camping, and swimming

Favorite class I’ve taken: Animal biology

Favorite thing about being a student at CC: The instructors actually care about me as an individual. They have really gone the extra mile to get to know me and genuinely want me to succeed.
