I was raised in the northen White Mountains of NH, now known as the Great North Woods. I am retired from the military, having served 14 years as an active duty Marine as an IBM systems programmer and 8 years as an Air National Guardsman serving with the RI 143rd managing their base level personnel computing systems.

I am the Business Information Systems faculty member for the School of Business & Industry. Areas of instruction include information systems, networking, network and computer security, information assurance, and computer forensics. My experience, research, and academic expertise includes information systems design, work flow integration, and management and socio-technical business process transformation integrated with knowledge management system (KMS) design.

I enjoy those rare opportunities to sleep. When energy avails, time permits, and PhD research does not consume, I enjoy trail hiking and in the winter alpine condition hiking. I thoroughly enjoy day trips into America's scenic beauty. I have been married 35 years, have 3 children over 30 and 4 grandchildren under 4 years of age.
