Shari has been an admissions representative at Casper College since April 2007. She grew up on a farm in southwest Iowa. Shari attended Midland Lutheran College in Nebraska, where she played softball her freshman year and majored in Business Administration with concentrations in Marketing and Management. During the summers while in college, Shari came to Casper to work for her family's business and fell in love with Casper. Upon graduating from Midland she moved to Casper. After working at Casper College for a year, she decided to take advantage of the online Agribusiness degree program Casper College offers and earned her Associate of Science in Agribusiness in 2009. Shari loves traveling all over the region for college fairs and individual high school visits, telling prospective students and their families about the great opportunities Casper College has to offer.

As an admissions representative Shari has traveled to parts of Wyoming, Montana, Colorado, South Dakota, North Dakota, Nebraska and Utah representing Casper College to prospective students and their families. She attends college fairs and makes visits to individual high schools in the Fall and Spring of each year to share with prospective students the opportunities available to them at Casper College. She organizes and conducts campus visits as well as admissions counseling for prospective students. She also works in conjunction with the faculty and staff in the other departments on campus to recruit students to their programs and on organizing specialized visit days. Shari is a member of a few admissions organizations such as RMACAC, RAMACRAO and WAO. She has held the office of Secretary for the WAO organization in the past and is currently serving as the Planning Days Coordinator for them. As Planning Days Coordinator she is responsible for planning and organizing the Wyoming College fair circuit (Post-High School Planning Days) that occur each Fall.
