I have been an Electronics instructor at Casper College for over 20 years. The area I love the most is industrial electronics, which includes instrumentation, motor control and data communications. I learned about electronics in the oil field. I worked for Schlumberger and Core Laboratories doing mostly instrumentation. I also worked for a while for Wyoming Avionics installing and calibrating avionic equipment for corporate aircraft. For a short period I worked in the Biomedical Engineering Department at Wyoming Medical Center where I was charged with maintenance checks on infusion pumps.

| I teach courses in multiple departments:
Electronics – mainly the Industrial Electronics courses but I also enjoy teaching the Electronics Communications class (I still think Amateur Radio is cool!).
Robotics – I teach the basic Mechanical and some of the Programming courses.
Renewable Energy – the Instrumentation class is my favorite. |
| Tinkering is my favorite thing to do. It doesn’t really matter whether it’s connecting a new controller to a motor, programming a robot, or building a shed. I can while away an afternoon-just tinkering… |
