Thom  is an education instructor  with over twenty  years of teaching experience.  He has worked with all grades, k-8,  teaching content in both Spanish and English in three different countries,  both urban and rural, public and private schools.  The child of an immigrant, his passion for language was ignited early in life.  He studied in Sweden, worked as a Peace Corps Volunteer in the outback of Belize, taught dual language instruction in Cartagena, Colombia and bilingual education and both Denver Public Schools and Grand Rapids Public Schools. Thom currently teaches pre-service teachers at Casper College in Wyoming.

Thom, In his spare time, enjoys time with his wife and two daughters lollygagging in nature.
