Graduation and Commencement
Getting ready for the 2025 commencement on May 16, 2025
All graduates need to fill out the following form(s):
- You will need to apply for graduation by April 1 whether or not you will participate in the ceremony
- In order to participate in the commencement ceremony, please complete the Intent to Participate in Commencement form between February 15 and April 30 each year.
Important Graduation Deadlines and Dates
The application for graduation is needed for a student to be awarded the degree and have a diploma created for them. You need to fill out the application for graduation whether or not you intend to participate in the commencement ceremony.
- April 1 – Application Deadline for Spring Graduation
- July 16 – Application Deadline for Summer Graduation
- December 1 – Application Deadline for Fall Graduation
The commencement ceremony takes place once a year following the end of the Spring Semester. It is typically held on the Friday evening following final exam week.
Fall and Summer graduates are also encouraged to participate in the commencement ceremony.
Order a Cap/Gown
March 3 – April 4, 2025: Students need to order cap and gown from the Jack McCann College Store located in the Casper College Student Union. Students can begin picking up their cap and gown starting May 12, 2024. Cost is $50. To have regalia delivered to your address, there is an additional $15.95 delivery fee.
Ceremony
Practice for commencement is at 10 a.m. on Friday, May 16, 2025, at the Ford Wyoming Center (formerly Casper Events Center).
Commencement is 7 p.m. on Friday, May 16, 2025, at the Ford Wyoming Center. Doors open at 6 p.m. Students must be there by 6:30 p.m. The ceremony is open to the public.
The ceremony will be available for watching online via livestream.
