Mission
The Casper College Alumni Association promotes awareness and appreciation for Casper College, increases the ability to provide financial resources to Casper College and its greater community, improves connectivity with alumni and other stakeholders, and improves the Casper College campus environment.

Stay connected.

All current students, past students, and friends are encouraged to notify the Casper College Alumni Association of their current address. We add new names and update addresses in order to get Casper College information to you. Email or call the Alumni Office and include your name, address, any information about yourself you would share, plus your years of attendance or graduation date.

The Casper College Alumni Association is a growing and vital part of the campus community. In 1989, the association was officially chartered and a constitution and bylaws was adopted. Currently, more than 20,000 names are on the college’s former student contact list. Twice each year, alumni receive an edition of Footprints, the alumni news magazine. The magazine is also available electronically via this website. Alumni have worked to establish an endowment fund for future projects and scholarships, and oversee several scholarships. Each year the annual Alumni and Friends banquet honors distinguished alumni and commitment to excellence recipients. In addition, the alumni board hosts an annual chili feed at Homecoming, hands out doughnuts on the first day of classes, sponsors a holiday reception for students and staff, and presents each graduate with a gift at commencement rehearsal. The Krampert Theatre Lobby was named the Alumni Lobby in recognition of a $100,000 gift from alumni and a plaque has been erected listing all donor names. Also, the alumni association played a significant role in the college’s 50th anniversary celebration spearheading the “Spirit of the Thunderbird” project, which resulted in the 15-foot tall Chris Navarro bronze on the front campus, which has become a symbol for the college.

CC   2012 Commitment to Excellence Honoree: Paul Hallock
Paul HallockA Casper native and a 1965 alumnus of Casper College, Paul Hallock directed the Casper College Foundation for 18 years. He began work as an admissions counselor in 1978, became the director of admissions and school relations in 1982, then the director of planning and development in 1984. He served as the Casper College Foundation director from 1993 until his retirement in 2011. In that role, he oversaw a fivefold increase in the foundation’s endowment. Six new buildings were constructed during his tenure, as well as the remodeling of several more. The Council on Resource Development honored Hallock in 2008 as the national Outstanding Private Fundraising Professional. He was also the Executive Director of the Casper College Alumni Association and the first Executive Director of the BOCES in Casper. Hallock has consulted with various non-profits regarding effective fundraising. He enjoys spending time in the mountains and is an avid T-Bird fan. In addition to his degree from Casper College, Hallock holds a B.A. from Phillips University and a M.Div. from Phillips Graduate Seminary. He is an ordained minister in the Disciples of Christ Church and he has raised three children, Mark, Daniel, and Katherine. He has four grandchildren.
CC   2012 Distinguished Alumni Honoree: Henry Alfonso (Hank) True III
Hank TrueHenry Alfonso (Hank) True III graduated from Casper College in 1963. He earned an associate degree in general studies, then transferred to the University of Wyoming where he earned his bachelor’s degree in mathematics education in 1966, followed in 1967 with a bachelor’s degree in animal science. Along the way, True realized his life calling was to work for the family businesses started by his father in 1948. First flying pipeline patrol, and then working as an oil scout, he discovered that the oil business was in his blood. He was active in the management of a variety of operations; and in 1994, he and his two brothers, David L. and Diemer, took over the companies at the passing of their father. Thanks to all of the training the three had received over the years working at the various companies, they were able to step in and keep the business moving forward. He and younger brother David now operate the various company businesses, including ranching, energy and banking interests. Casper College recognized Hank as one of CC’s 50 Exemplary Alums in 1995 in conjunction with the college’s fiftieth anniversary celebration. His many accomplishments and honors include service as a director of the American Petroleum Institute (since 1987); the Federal Reserve Bank of Kansas City, Denver branch (1987-1992); the National Cowboy and Western Heritage Museum (since 2002); and the National Western Stock Show (since 2007). He has also chaired the College National Finals Rodeo since 2004 and served as a trustee for the University of Wyoming from 1995-2007. He was recognized as a distinguished alumnus of the UW College of Education in 2009. He is a director of Hilltop National Bank and the White Stallion Ranch in Tucson, Ariz. Hank True is married to Karen True. Their children are Thea Jean True Wells, H.A. Tad True, Barbara Boles True, and six grandchildren.

An annual fundraiser is held to enable the alumni association to provide assistance to future students and to support extra-curricular activities and college projects. In 2002 the alumni association board pledged $100,000 to the Krampert Theatre addition/renovation project. For this donation the new Krampert Theatre Lobby was named the Alumni Lobby and a plaque has been erected listing all donor names. The 2005-2009 fundraiser campaigns have focused on state matching funds set aside by the Wyoming . Many donations given during this period double in value and enable the colleges to remain strong in the future. We’ll put your dollars to work helping Casper College and its students.
Remember, it’s tax deductible!
